Tami Pickens, President of ISU Insurance Services ARMAC Agency, is no stranger to the High Desert.

​

Born and raised in Apple Valley, CA Tami has a legacy of supporting the HD community. At the age of 12,

with a work permit in hand, Tami held her first job at Via Verde Arabians working 30 hours per week. With a love for animals Tami was certain she would become a

horse trainer. After attending Apple Valley Christian School and graduating from Apple Valley High School in 1992, Tami pursued culinary school. Tami graduated

from Scottsdale Culinary Institute (a Le Cordon Bleu College of Culinary Arts) at the age of 18 and worked

at one of the top restaurants in Phoenix, AZ.
