BASS HILL TRAIL

Discover this 1.9-mile out-and-back trail. Bass Hill Trail is located near Lions Park off of Outer Highway 18 in Apple Valley. You can begin the trail at Lions Park or near the SCE Rancho Substation. Start the hike up the paved hillside. Once you reach the top continue right on the dirt trail. This will lead you to the Hilltop House that was once owned by Newt Bass, a founding father of Apple Valley. When you reach the top you'll discover amazing 360º views of the High Desert. Happy Trails!
